Our Tattoos

Thom's Dragon tattoo. It was gotten in Campbell River in British Columbia, Canada. This is actually a coverup of a dragon that he had gotten more than 20 yrs ago. It was very faded and he would have had to either had it redone or had another cover it up. You can see he chose to cover it. The artwork is original from the artist that did the work.
Thom's Orc Shawman. Work was done in Greenville, MI. The shop is A Mystery Ink 2.
Thom's Stone Dragon. Work was done while we were near Parris Island, South Carolina visiting the oldest son, his wife and the new granddaughter. No I do not remember the shop. Wish I could they did nice work and were very pleasant. It is on his left forearm. Funny but on the inside forearm most people don't notice the tat as much as tats on the top part of the forearm.
This is a new one for Thom. It is under the Stone Dragon on his left arm. It was done by Jerry at A.V. Ink in Lancaster, CA. He got this one while I was getting one fixed and finished.
This was my first tattoo. It is a Celtic Knotwork Dragon. The work was done while we were near Parris Island, South Carolina visiting the oldest son, his wife and the new granddaughter. I got it the same time that Thom got his Stone Dragon.
It is on my upper left arm. Mike at A.V. Ink in Lancaster, CA did the work. I am extremely happy and satisfied with her now and only want to put up the picture after the scabs are gone, lol. If anyone wants work done by them their number is 661-729-4575.
Not a good picture of it thou, I will have another taken soon that shows it off so much better.

Thom says that he will not get another tattoo until I get one, lol. I am looking at maybe a baby dragon. Looking for one that I will be happy with but that I can show several to the granddaughter and have her "help" pick one out for Grandma, LOL. So if anyone has any pictures of baby dragons of some sort please let me know. I have found a few but would like some more choices.

Our rules for tattoos (and should be everyones, lol) are:
1 - No names, the only exception would be names of your own kids. I have known those that have had to have cover-ups several times because of relationships/marriages ending.
2 - No portraits, again the only exception would be your own kids.
3 - Make sure it is something that you REALLY love as it will be there forever and if you ever do decide to take it off there be ALOT more pain involved than getting the tattoo in the first place.
4 - The places that hurts the least will be places that have more muscle / fat. The places that hurts more will be ones that are close to the bone, so all those that get them on the ankle thinking it's small etc. it will hurt more than one say on the boob area. Oops one more area that will hurt alot will be where there are lots of nerve endings. Ask the tattoo person if you are unsure about where the nerve endings are they should know some basic anatomy.
5 - After figuring out what you what and where then investigate the shop to make sure they are clean and sanitary.
6 - Then you should always make sure the person doing the tattoo is skilled in what you want. Don't go to someone that specalizes in black and white if you want color.

  2. If you are talking about the new pure sine Xantrex inv/char then we got it off ebay from a dealer. We paid about $1,200 for it. It came with the control panal as part of the price which made it much cheaper than any other place.
